After introducing three out of four Kane household pets...
Well, it just wasn't fair to leave out the last one any longer.
Meet Michi (me-chee)
She is the stereotypical, aloof feline.
If I could read her mind, I'm sure it would go something like this....
"I will sit in this chair (or anywhere else) if I want and I will look pretty while doing so. I will not sit on your lap but I will let you pick me up if you must. Although, I only tolerate it because you feed me. I do meow pathetically at you only because I know I have the power to get your attention. I just hate it when you turn the dryer on. It scares me. That's why I like you to pick me up, place me on the dryer and pet me while I eat! I have you trained! And Oh, by the way, you will never be forgiven for bringing that Orange Cat into my home. I was here first and she was not needed! Just so you know, She is the one who's responsible for the hairballs.....NOT ME!"

I tackled the minutes from the March meeting of Northland Photography Club and
Wha-la...a photo!... Making this one a little extra easy on myself today. Why not!
Late, almost midnight, but I made it!
While typing the minutes and looking around my desk, I couldn't help but notice this little Christmas "leftover" peeking at me.

As I was leaving work in the afternoon I saw the stacks of potting soil, compost and garden fertilizers sitting out at the hardware store next door to where I work...
When the outdoor lawn and garden supplies start showing up,
you know that Spring is near...
if not already here!
Time for me to start planning my garden makeover.
It's a must do this year!
...and I think I need some new pots for my garden makeover too!

Friday was the only day that I felt somewhat productive in
my efforts to capture a worthwhile photo!

I saw this lonely little Crocus a couple of days ago just showing it's pretty little self
to the world right by my mailbox!
We've never had a Crocus in our yard before.
I love it when God gives us a surprise that makes us smile! :)

I'm happy I captured it forever!
When Mark and I left the house for our usual Friday evening run of eating out and shopping I proceeded to tell him that we needed to take the truck because we had some "curb hopping" to do.
You can use your imagination as to what his response was...but I knew he'd be up for it!!
And I was right!
I wanted to investigate the old 152 Hwy and that required some curb hopping!!!
I'd never traveled on it before when it was in use.

Poor little thing has needed a haircut for so long.
Even my kids have scolded me for letting my little pitiful pup get so ragged that she has "dreads."
They say she looks like Master Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Poor baby, I think she's precious (and she is.)
Her only desire is to find a lap to sit on. She loves everyone.
